She specializes in working with students with learning disabilities and ADHD, using proven methods to help every child build confidence and succeed.
Barbara is trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach—a highly effective, structured, multisensory method for teaching reading and language skills. This evidence-based approach is at the heart of her teaching, and she has seen remarkable results in students of all abilities.
Holding both multiple subject and special education credentials, Barbara has worked across grade levels as a general education teacher, reading teacher, and educational specialist. Her nurturing, engaging teaching style is grounded in deep expertise and a genuine commitment to each student’s success.
